Learning About Tax Levies

If you owe money to the IRS, you should do whatever you can to avoid a tax levy. Open Question: I want swimming/water/aqua shoes.Where can I get them?
I am looking for shoes I can actually wear while swimming. Say if I go to a beach or river where there is a lot of gravel or if it’s rocky…I should be able to wear them to protect my feet.

So basically I should be able to wear them both on and off land. They should not be too expensive.

Are there any stores which sell such shoes? I am based in the North East by the way.

Open Question: What is Jesus’ special role? I’d like to share!!?
THE PROMISED MESSIAH
Long before Jesus was born, the Bible foretold the coming of the one whom God would send as the Messiah, or Christ. The titles “Messiah” (from a Hebrew word) and “Christ” (from a Greek word) both mean“Anointed One.” This promised One would be anointed, that is, appointed by God to a special position. In later chapters of this book, we will learn more about the Messiah’s important place in the fulfillment of God’s promises. We will also learn about the blessings that Jesus can bring us even now. Before Jesus was born, however, many no doubt wondered, ‘Who will prove to be the Messiah?’
In the first century C.E., the disciples of Jesus of Nazareth were fully convinced that he was the foretold Messiah. (John 1:41) One of the disciples, a man named Simon Peter, openly said to Jesus: “You are the Christ.” (Matthew 16:16) How, though, could those disciples—and how can we—be sure that Jesus really is the promised Messiah?
The prophets of God who lived before Jesus foretold many details about the Messiah. These details would help others to identify him. We might illustrate things this way: Suppose you were asked to go to a busy bus depot or a train station or an airport to pick up someone you had never met before. Would it not help if someone gave you a few details about him? Similarly, by means of the Bible prophets, Jehovah gave a rather detailed description of what the Messiah would do and what he would experience. The fulfillment of these many prophecies would help faithful ones to identify him clearly.
Consider just two examples. First, over 700 years in advance, the prophet Micah foretold that the promised One would be born in Bethlehem, a small town in the land of Judah. (Micah 5:2) Where was Jesus actually born? Why, in that very town! (Matthew 2:1, 3-9) Second, many centuries in advance, the prophecy recorded at Daniel 9:25 pointed to the very year when the Messiah was to appear—29 C.E.* The fulfillment of these and other prophecies proves that Jesus was the promised Messiah.
At his baptism, Jesus became the Messiah, or Christ
Further proof that Jesus was the Messiah became clear near the end of 29 C.E. That is the year when Jesus went to John the Baptizer to be baptized in the Jordan River. Jehovah had promised John a sign so that he could identify the Messiah. John saw that sign at Jesus’ baptism. The Bible says that this is what happened: “After being baptized Jesus immediately came up from the water; and, look! the heavens were opened up, and he saw descending like a dove God’s spirit coming upon him. Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said: ‘This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.’” (Matthew 3:16, 17) After seeing and hearing what happened, John had no doubt that Jesus was sent by God. (John 1:32-34) At the moment when God’s spirit, or active force, was poured out upon him that day, Jesus became the Messiah, or Christ, the one appointed to be Leader and King.—Isaiah 55:4.
The fulfillment of Bible prophecy and Jehovah God’s own testimony plainly show that Jesus was the promised Messiah.

Learn Currency Trading (Part I)

Currency trading is the name of the game right now. Currency trading is being called the Recession Proof Business of the 21st Century. The currency market is the crossroads for international capital, the intersection through which the global commercial and investment flows have to move. We like to think of the currency market as the, Big Kahuna of the financial markets. Currency Market is the most traded financial markets in the world.

Currency market is open around the clock six days a week, enabling currency traders to act on news and events as they happen. More than anything else, the currency market is the traders market. Its a market where a billion dollar of trades can be executed in a matter of seconds. Huge currency transactions may not even move the prices noticeably.

While commercial and financial transactions in the currency markets represent huge nominal sums, they still pale in comparison to the amount spend on speculation. By far the vast majority of currency trading volume is based on speculation.

Estimates are that upwards of 90% of the daily trading volume is derived from speculation meaning that commercial or investment based currency trades account for less than 10% of the daily global volume. The depth and breadth of the speculative market means that the liquidity of the overall currency market is unparalleled among global financial markets.

Currency trading has its own set of trading lingo just like any financial market. If you are new to currency trading, the mechanics and terminology may take some getting used to. The biggest mental hurdle facing newcomers to currency trading especially those traders coming from other markets are getting there head around the idea that each currency trade consists of a simultaneous sale and purchase.

For example, in the stock market, you own only 100 shares and want to see the price go up if you purchase 100 shares of Google (GOOG). You simply sell your 100 shares when you want to exit. But in currencies, the purchase of one currency involves the simultaneous sale of another currency.

This is the exchange in the foreign exchange. So currencies come in pairs. To make matters easier, currency markets refer to trading currencies by pairs. All most all currency pairs have nicknames or abbreviations. The major currency pairs all involve the US Dollar on one side of the deal.

The most frequently traded currency pairs in the currency market are: USD/JPY, GBP/USD, USD/CHF, EUR/USD, USD/CAD, UAD/USD, and NZD/USD. Rest of the currency pairs dont have the volume that these pairs have. The designation of each currency is expressed using ISO codes for each currency.

Cross currency pairs serve as the alternative to always trading the US Dollar although the vast majority of currency trading takes place in the dollar pairs. Cross rates are derived from the respective USD pairs but are quoted independently. A cross currency pair or a cross is any currency pair that does not include the US Dollar.

Foreclosed Homes For Sell

Let’s face it; the housing market has certainly seen brighter days in the past than it is right now because with the economy in the state it is, many people are battling financially. In fact, the vast majority of us have needed to make certain sacrifices in order to stay above water and prevent unwelcome guests from knocking on the door. One advantage of such times however, is that you can purchase a home below the going rate, simply because foreclosed homes usually sell for a fraction of their original value.

This is essentially because banks are reluctant to keep these foreclosed homes for any length of time, and as such, they use various methods in order to get rid of them as quickly as possible.

In most cases banks will simply attempt to sell these properties by means of a direct sale, often at a price which is as much as 50% below the original price. Of course, as mentioned, the condition of a property can vary tremendously, so the extremely low price can be either good or bad, depending on what you get. When a property is offered for sale at such a significantly reduced price, it usually indicates that the bank or lender is desperate to sell in order to recover some of their losses.

The next method is to have an auction. This is where they just want to get rid of these things and the price may be dirt cheap. Some places may be damaged and in bad condition, others may be perfectly fine. It all depends on whats available and what you choose. Although auction prices are varied, not fixed. Meaning the bid can go up to the original price again if the bidder wants it.

In fact, with regards to the bank or lender, a foreclosed home sold at auction can in some cases end up being a better deal than if it had been sold by means of a direct sale. Regardless of the method by which they’re sold, foreclosed homes are becoming increasingly common simply because more and more people are finding it financially impossible to maintain loan repayments. However this shouldn’t put you off because in the vast majority of cases, if there are outstanding monthly payments, they are for the most part extremely low. Also, it is not uncommon to find a home which has been foreclosed and which still has all the furniture inside.

Essentially, buying a foreclosed home via a direct sale is relatively easy, while winning one at auction may prove to be a little more difficult. Obviously, you need to bear in mind that you are not the only one looking for that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Let’s face it; everyone would like to own a beautiful home while at the same time being able to buy it for next to nothing. Remember however, because you get what’s available, you need to keep a level head before you commit yourself, and as such, you need to satisfy yourself with regards to whether or not you’re happy with the condition of a property. After all, nobody wants to buy a great looking home only to discover that it’s going to cost you more than you paid for it just to have it repaired.

Courts Do Not Like Self Help Evictions

Self help eviction is when you take your own actions to kick out a tenant without going through the courts. There are procedures you have to go through with the court and that is the only legal way you can evict a tenant.

A self help eviction is any one of the following actions to remove a non-paying tenant from your home: changing the locks to prevent the tenant from entering your property, threatening the tenant, turning off vital utility services, and remove a tenant’s personal property.

You must not threaten self help eviction on your tenant like threatening to change the locks or to shut off the power. In most States there are clear statutes that prohibit threats of self help eviction.

If you are accused of self help eviction, a judge could care little if your tenant was behind on his rent. If the tenant is in possession of your rental home, he has certain rights and protections. You need to go through the correct eviction procedures with the court.

Let us say you have to go to court because you engaged in acts that fall under self help eviction. You could be fined $20,000 and more. There are many cases where a landlord has removed a tenant’s personal property from the premises and they were fined $30,000 or more. A judge will not require receipts from the tenant either because the landlord could have disposed of such receipts while removing the tenant’s property from the premises.

Where you will really get slammed in court if you engage in acts of self help eviction is under the common law intentional torts of conversion statutes. This means you exercised control over an item in a manner inconsistent with the rights of its owner which deprived the owner of its value. Secondly, you could be hit with trespass which is the unlawful entry upon the property of another enjoying right to possession. These are claims for relief are intentional torts which means that if the court finds you are liable, they can award both nominal and punitive damages to the tenant.

In WILLIAM SPANO v. HANNA ABDALLA S.C. Superior Court (10-3-2002) Hanna Abdulla engaged in self help eviction by changing the locks and removing William Spano’s personal property from the premise to the sidewalk. Hanna Abdulla claimed that she thought the tenant had abandoned the premises. The court was not persuaded by her claim and awarded Spano $1,800 for the 3 months of rent expense he incurred to live elsewhere. The court further awarded $1,200 in punitive damages and attorneys fees.

In Gordon v. Morris, 2001 Ohio App. (2-2-2001) the landlord changed the locks just before the end of the month after learning that the tenants had shut off the utilities and removed most of their belongings. The trial court awarded the tenants only $96.77 in actual damages (they had paid rent through the end of the month but were deprived of the use of the apartment, and this was the prorated amount). But the trial court further awarded $1,000.00 in punitive damages and $1,462.00 in attorneys fees.

The purpose of the courts for not allowing “self-help” evictions is to preserve the peace by preventing disturbances that frequently accompany struggles for the possession of land. If you could just change the locks and throw a tenants belongings out in the street or worse, in the trash, that same angry tenant could come to your home and put a bullet in your head. While at face value it may not seem like the courts are protecting you, they actually are.
